Terms of Use
Effective Date: June 3, 2026. Please read these terms carefully before downloading or using Akuru Foiy.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Akuru Foiy mobile application (the "App") or accessing our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not install or use the App.
2. Use of the App and License
We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable license to install and use Akuru Foiy on devices that you own or control for personal, non-commercial purposes, strictly in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, unless explicitly permitted under local laws.
3. Content and Local Storage Ownership
You retain absolute ownership and copyright of any text, notes, or media you write, create, or store inside Akuru Foiy. Since the App stores all files locally on your device, you are solely responsible for creating regular backups of your notes (e.g., via device-level OS backup functions or manual text exports).
We do not have access to your notes, cannot recover deleted files on your behalf, and are not liable for any data loss resulting from device failure, app uninstallation, or system resets.
4. App Store Terms Apply
Your installation and purchase of the App are also subject to the terms and conditions of the platform from which you downloaded the App (Apple App Store Terms of Service or Google Play Terms of Service). In the event of a conflict, the platform-specific terms shall take precedence.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
Akuru Foiy is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be completely free from minor software bugs, run without interruptions, or meet all specific user expectations.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Akuru Foiy and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, notes, data, or other intangible losses arising out of the use or inability to use the App.
